It's also possible to rent a room in a separate house or an entire house, both within a 3-minute walk. Ask about the terms and conditions .

Accommodation

The 2-week workshop for beginners applies:

• Included is firing and glazing of up to 5 kilos of dry clay – more than enough for a nice selection of ceramic pieces as a beginner

• The work can be decorated with engobes (colored clay slip) during the course, and after firing, we can glaze/finish it for you. A transparent glaze is used. If time permits, you can also glaze your work yourself. This can be a colored glaze.

• Firing and glazing more than 5 kilos is also possible, for an additional charge of €17 per additional kilo.

• Unglazed work is not shipped as it is too fragile for shipping and likely to break.

Practical information and conditions

What is included:

• Full board on a vegetarian basis
  Three meals a day and a snack break in between, prepared with love and as many organic ingredients as possible. We cook vegetarian meals, using organic dairy and eggs.

• Wine with dinner
  Every evening we serve local Greek wine with your meal.

• Full use of the studio and materials
  Includes clay, tools, potters' wheels, glazes, and (if applicable) firing costs. See also the terms and conditions for Daily Ceramics Classes.

• Daily optional gentle yoga session
  Every morning there is an accessible yoga class to start the day in a relaxed manner.

• 2 x joint evening dinner out at a local restaurant is included.

• 1x organized activity
  For example, a walk, truffle hunting, beach visit, museum tour or a mini-safari through the interior.

• Tea, coffee, water and snacks throughout the day.

• Packing 1 finished piece of ceramic for shipping to your home.

❌ What is not included:

• Flight tickets
  You must arrange your own return journey.

• Transfer to and from the airport
  Because arrival times vary per participant, there is no central pick-up service. However, we can advise on taxi services or sharing transportation with other participants.

• Meat with meals
  We cook vegetarian meals. If you prefer meat, you can purchase and prepare it yourself. There are four butcher shops within walking distance in the village, and the kitchen is at your disposal.

• Insurance
  Make sure you have valid travel and cancellation insurance.

• Shipping costs for sending ceramics to your home. Packaging one piece of ceramic is free. Packaging more than one piece costs €15 per piece. The actual packaging and shipping costs for all the pieces are added to this.

💳 Payment and cancellation

Payment

• Deposit
  After registration, we ask for a deposit of 30% of the total amount to definitively reserve your place.

• Remaining amount
  You can choose:
  ▸ Payment in advance – no later than 4 weeks before the start of the retreat.
  ▸ Pay cash upon arrival – and you will receive a 5% discount on the remaining amount.
  
  

Cancellation policy

▸ If you cancel up to 12 weeks before the start, you will receive your deposit back minus €150 administration costs.

▸ In case of cancellation between 12 and 8 weeks before the start, 50% of the total amount will be refunded.

▸ In case of cancellation within 8 weeks before the start, a refund is unfortunately no longer possible.

Of course, you can have someone else participate in your place, provided they meet the basic requirements. However, you will have to pay the administration fee in that case.
