Gudrun Wilsterman
Gudrun is a born entrepreneur. She's spent her life building her own businesses and developing new ideas. With Ceramicaza, she brings together the best of both worlds: the Greek passion that fuels her life much of the year, and the Dutch common sense that keeps her approach sharp and practical.
She moves effortlessly between countries, languages, and roles: from organizer to support worker, from problem-solver to ceramics teacher. This hybrid energy makes Ceramicaza feel both warm and free, yet well-organized—exactly the balance a retreat needs.
Gudrun is the organizational lynchpin of Ceramicaza and the driving force behind the retreats. She oversees the bigger picture: from planning, logistics, and communication to the smallest details in and around The Dream House.
Gudrun generally teaches beginners and intermediates. During the guest lectures, Gudrun acts as a support assistant : she helps with the wheel, helps where needed, translates, handles questions, and ensures that each student can do exactly what they came for—learning, growing, and creating. While the guest teacher teaches, Gudrun oversees the flow of the day: materials ready, glazing on time, quiet where necessary, and energy where needed.
Ceramicaza exists because of her vision — and functions because of her approach.
