You’ll have created several pieces: mugs with handles, small bowls, a vase or bottle shape, and a larger bowl. All thrown, glazed, and fired by you.
And perhaps most importantly: you’ve developed a feel for the wheel, learned to let your hands listen to the clay — and discovered just how addictive and satisfying wheel-throwing can be.

After the first course period?
You’ll have the techniques you need to create almost anything you want. You’ll have made pieces such as a bowl, a wall object, a small sculpture, a vase, or an abstract form. Maybe you created something functional — or perhaps something expressive and playful.
You’ll know how to shape an idea, how to build it structurally, and how to finish it properly.
You’re at the start of endless possibilities in clay. And trust me: it only makes you want more.
